Arthritis is nothing but the inflammation of joints. This is featured by redness, heat, swelling and pain in the affected region. Thus arthritis back pain is the inflammation of the joints of the back and generally affects the lower back. The reason for this is because the lower back bears most of the body’s weight thus even if something small affects that area such as problem with bones, ligaments, tendons or muscles, it may cause excruciating pain for the person when they move, bend or even stand.
There are different reasons, that are responsible for arthritis back pain. The most important one being, the inflammation of the joints, that cause the joints to swell. Then it damages, the joint tissue, which leads to pain whether the initial cause may be from diseases (from bacteria and viruses) or stressful conditions that pressurizes the joints resulting in injury. Fatigue, depression and other stresses would then increase the the pain if one does not exercise or participate in fewer activities due to the pain.
Arthritis back pain can be treated with a routine arthritis pain management plan. Some treatments techniques include massage, low impact sports, using padding to protect the joints, eating a balanced diet and getting enough sleep. All these methods help the patient to deal with the arthritis in a much more effective manner.
